There’s no doubt cycling has become a way for many of us to get out of the house and connect with nature during this time of social distancing. For me, cycling became a way of life in the early 90s, and since then I have seen the evolution of mountain biking, the decline of American road cycling, and now the success of GRAVEL riding.
If you are not familiar with gravel riding, it is the latest trend in the world of cycling. Take a mountain bike and a traditional road bike, put them in a blender and what you come out with is the ultimate adventure machine. Gravel bikes feature drop bars for when on the tarmac, disc brakes for quick and easy braking, and wider tires for stability in the dirt.
